Hi Guys,
One of the engineers install an academic version of Ansys FEA and it has messed up the CFX licence. Now when I run CFX I only see the academic and not the full CFX package. We are running 14.5 so used to use the FlemIn but that is now gone. Anybody got an idea how I can undo all this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated |

Can you change your license preference order?
Start >> All programs >> ANSYS >> ANSYS Client Licensing >> User License Preferences. Put CFX before (above) the academic license. |

Thanks for the reply,
In 14.5 the CFX is already at the top (16 doesn't show at all). This really has me stumped |

change it in v16 license preferences.
Start >> All programs >> ANSYS v16.0 >> ANSYS Client Licensing >> User License Preferences. Put CFX before (above) the academic license. change the order for all versions you use. Also check license status in Anslic Admin. make sure you still have the license. |
