Dear Community,
does anybody have an idea how to set the camera orthogonal to a custom plane (made from three wildly distributed points). I tried the solutions offered in different threads with no success like the CCL Option = Pivot Point and Rotation. Which when "Processed" hides my model and from seeing the corrdinate system, changing the rotation by 90° is just changing it orthogonal to another main choordinate plane. I'm using ANSYS 16.2. If anyone could help me, I'd be grateful otherwise I'll contact the ANSYS Support and let everyone know. Cheers Marcel |

So to let you know what I found out:
First of all, units are in meters. Second, it worked quite well with a script using "Option = Pivot Point and Quaternion", which can be found under #2037382. Then you just need to calculate the orthogonal vector of the plane. |
