coolcrasher is on a distinguished road
Hi

I am working on 2D wall condensation model. To simulate the water vapour and air mixture condensation over a hot plate.

I have a rectangular domain with plate at 90 C. Initially the whole domain is at 25 c and at inlet the steam mixture flows with temperature of 100 C and mass fraction of vapor as 0.9.

I am taking a timestep of 0.001 and running the transient simulation for 1000s.

I have followed the instructions given in wall condensation section of modelling guide and also took help from wall_condesation.ccl

But unfortunately am unable to see the liquid film on the plate at end of simulation.

The domain is rectanguler 2D. With length of 2.5m and height of 1m. 1 cell width in other direction.( symmetry boundary used for that since CFX does not support 2D )

Please let me now if am doing wrong. Is the time step okie ?

Also let me know if any more information is required.
