symmetry for half cylinder.,,?

hi,,,,,

i'm doing cfx simulation on cylindrical geometry,,,, due to some reason i comes to change the inlet and out let mechanism.... now conditions are as i shown in the attached pic.

there is inlet from the top centre diameter line and outlet is also on the same line. can i half cut the cylinder and use the symmetry?i think planner symmetry should be used but this option is available only in fluent how can i apply symmetry in cfx,,,,,,,? please help @ghorrocks @opaque
