Hello,
Very new to CFX and CFD in general. Would anyone know where to find the recommended y plus values for the k-epsilon turbulence model? Regards, Dee |

This is discussed in the CFX manuals under recommendations for flow modelling.
But it boils down to a sensitivity study. Different simulations have different requirements, so there is no universal rule. |

Thanks,
My results from mesh independence levelled out around 4-6% of the values i had from experimental, So i think i blundered my way to an acceptable simulation. It's college work, so i guess i need to justify selection of mesh. thanks ill go look up the manuals. Dee |
