How can I efficiently make a area-weighted histogram of a quantity on the wall (WSSav) in CFD-Post? The chart-histogram tool with "percentage" as the Y axis and "geometrical" weighting gives me something, but it is incorrect based on my cross-checking with the numbers from Isoclip.
If CFD-Post cannot do this directly, then making all the bins manually using Isoclip should work, but it seems tedious. Perhaps I can export the values and process it using MatLab or Python, but I've never done anything like that before. For one thing, I don't know how to interpolate from the values at each node so as to calculate the area. Any suggestions? |
