Hi
I am modeling a tilting disc placed in aortic valve, it is a 2D project, when blood comes to aortic valve, it cause moving in tiling disc (because of the pressure difference).and tilting disc opens, after that when pressure in heart becomes more than in valve, the valve closes. I heard that it solved by FSI, Im beginner and I just created a geometry. can I mesh in ICEM CFD? I read this paper, can I use it for my project? http://www.edr.no/blogg/ansys_blogge...cfx_re_meshing can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it |

Have you done the ball check valve tutorial (number 22)? Sounds like it is about the same as what you are trying to do.
You can mesh in whatever software you like, ICEM, workbench mesher, ANSA, etc... |

thanks for your reply.
I think it's different from my problem, the tilting disc is moving, and I want to analysis this movement by the time.but in this tutorial, the valve isn't moving.can you suggest me another tutorial about my problem? |

Read the tutorial again. It is both rigid body simulation and mesh deformation.
