Hello again,
i have a question about the cfx solver termination process. My transient run finished after 2200 iterations and about 17 hours of calculating. The solver stopped with: --> Final synchronization point reached by all partitions. Normally that should not the end of my output-file and therefore no results-file is written. Also i have a "running" symbol displayed in the lower left corner of the cfx solver. I waited for over an hour and nothing happened. Anyone of you had the same problem and can help me? Do i just have to wait? I cannot see a big utilization in task manager, so i dont know if my pc is doing anything for processing. To rename the last *.trn File in a *.res File will bring me a results file, but is this the same as the written results file? Thanks in advance. Flashi |

You don't have to rename *.trn file to *.res. you can just call *.trn in CFX post. Each *.trn file is the same as result file as far as I know unless you set any variable selection at the pre-processor. |
