Dispersed solid and erosion model?

I am dealing with circuation fluidized bed modeling. Is it possible discrete solid material and Gidaspow model with erosion model? As far as I know, erosio models are possible only in particle model and below 10% volume fraction of particle.Particle model is difficult to use in CFB modelling because of its initial condition.

I am no expert on this field, but I think your comment is correct. Erosion models are using Lagrangian particles but fluidised beds are usually Eularian models.
You might be able to find a Eularian particle erosion model in the literature. You could then try implementing it in CFX if you feel brave. |
