Hello,

I am working on CFD analysis of humidifier. In this two fluids (Air and water) are mixing and the heat and mass transfer will takes place. Water and air are in counter flow. I am using Ansys-CFX for the simulation. Please help me for this, I don't know how to solve the multiphase problem in CFX.

Do anyone have idea about this? how to do the analysis of this in ANSYS-CFX?
Thanks in advance....

Have a look at the tutorial examples in CFX and on the ANSYS customer page. Do lots of reading into the multiphase models - they are quite complex and if you do not understand them then you have no hope of getting this working. The model you propose is quite complex so expect to have quite a bit of work to do to get up to speed.

Thanks for reply horrocks...

Do you have any idea about the porous media. In my problem i am defining one region as porous. I know how to solve the porous media with single fluid but i don't have idea if there is multiphase. Anyone is having idea about this please reply????

Thanks..
