High guys,I am studying a curved 3D duct that has a staight part in the end. The pressure in the exit of the straight part is atmospheric but I want to define another measured static pressure right after the curved part of the duct and before the straight part. How can I do this? I tried with an extra surface, which i defined as outlet but I had the "isolated fluid regions" problem. Any suggestions??
Thanks |

It sounds like you want to define a boundary condition in the middle of the domain and this does not sound like a good idea. If you know the flow at either end of the straight pipe then why model the curved pipe at all? If you need the flow profile from upstream then do a model of the curved pipe as one model then use a profile boundary condition on the straight pipe for a straight pipe simulation.
