I need to define a planar location in CFD-post. Ideally, I would be able to select a face and be done with it, but apparently I can't. "Three points" option would be okay if I could select three points with a mouse using some kind of "snap" tool, but that doesn't seem to be available either. Apparently the program wants the numerical coordinates entered manually, but that's not always obvious. What are my options besides pretending that I'm back in grade school and working out the geometry problem?
I see that the probe tool can give coordinates, but I can't point it to the exact point I want without some kind of snapping. |

You should be able to just use the mouse for 3 points. Click in one of the 3 boxes for the first point, click on your surface, it will put in the coords of that point for you. Repeat for each of the next 2 points.
