Hi
I have Implemented the Singhal cavitation model with the formulation of Fluent which is a bit different from original one(the formulation is attached). And I dont know what is k in that formulation (some says its turbulent kinetic energy).Any way I have implemented Sauer which is the same as Fluent Sauer, And Zwart model gives same results in both CfD softwares. But Singhal model are completely different.
1- Who knows what is that k in formulation? I read in a paper its pressure relaxation coefficient and no more information
2-Fluent result is like singhal result for naca66(mod) but implemented CFX Singhal is different. The picture is attached
3-How Singhal model consider non condensable gas?Does it solve a transport equation for that?
4-Has anybody experience of successfully implementing Singhal model into CFX?

Rearrange the equation and make k the subject of the formula. Once you've done this what units does it have? Once you know its units then you have a pretty good idea what k is.

See derived SI units for help (although it's pretty easy to determine what units k has).
