Hi, I'm new in Ansys and when I was trying to run Solution for the second time I had this error message:

'GuiOperation Initiate Update from SM Gui' threw exception during Invoke: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

And the details:

System.InvalidOperationException: Update of the Solution component in CFX did not mark container as updated (final state is Modified).

Does anybody know what may have caused this? Or how to solve?

Hi,

I am having the same issue. I am running a simulation on a vertical axis wind turbine (very typical simulation) and i keep getting this error for most of my design points. it does work if i go back and update them until it works.

the error i get is:

"Update failed for the Solution component in CFX. Update of the Solution component in CFX did not mark container as updated (final state is Modified)."

A very big waste of time. i don't know what this error means and this thread is the only one i could find that has this issue.
