Hello,everyone
Now, i have some questions about drag force in CFX-post. Calculating the drag force in CFD-post,the results of forceX=force_x( )@(locator) and forceX=areaInt_x(pressure)@(locator)+areaInt_x(wal l shear_x)@(locator), why not equal each other?

Is "locator" the entire outside of the body? How big is the difference?

My work is simulating the submarine landslide impacting on seafloor pipeline. Locator is a wall in the domain, such as submarine pipeline. The difference of those is about 2.

My point is the two approaches have can have different reference pressures. Have you checked the reference pressure is equivalent in the two calculations?

Some images of what you are modelling and the mesh in the vicinity would help.

Reference pressure is same in the only calculations. G]
