Dear experts,

I set a new variable in CFX-Pre, when my run was completed I opened '.res' file in Post. For some reason, CFD-Post shows the result for the last time step, while in other time step the variable is unidentified.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Regards,
Nurzhan

How do you save the results for internal timesteps? Is it with standard option or with selected variables?

Hi Clarkent,

Thanks for your reply.

Frankly speaking, I do not even know how to selectively save my results for internal time-steps.

I would appreciate for some descriptions.

Nurzhan

You can add your variable to result file in CFX Pre in output control, trn results tab. Set option to "selected variables" and from output variables list choose your variable of interest. Hope this helps.

Hi Clarkent,

Finally got the result, using output control, as you said.

For some strange reason it did not work initially.

Many thanks,
Nurzhan
