Hello,

In our case we are modeling the spray formation in the cylinderical combustion chamber with Ansys CFX 15. A full cone spray with break up model and constant particle diameter have been defined.

Air as Continuous fluid and n-Heptane as Particle Transport FLuid have been defined.

Total time 2e-3 seconds with 1000 timestep studied and results in the CFD-Post have been visuallized.

The questions are:

-How to get ''mass'' of injected particles in the domain? for example at specific timestep and specific volume get the amount of mass. Not the massflow!

-'Number of Positions' is option to control number of injected particles. Based on concept of parcels, how is possible to get overview over real amount of particles and representetive amount of particles?

Regards,

Hossein
