Hi All,
Now CFX always use K generally as a default option to view temperatures in both post and solver. I know how to change a certain plot in post from K to C. The question I have is how to set that for the solver ( for user points) and even when I run a session file that measures temperatures at different locations of my model it always show in K. Now Under CFX post--Options---Solution Units I found that the Temperature is set to K. Does anybody know how to change that to C?? Regards |

Unfortunately, that is not supported by the ANSYS CFX Solver.
CFD-Post only changes the temperature units for display, and it has special handling for temperature differences, while the solver needs a consistent temperature unit for calculations of all sorts. Using absolute temperature avoids the confusion of when 1 [K] is 1 unit of change or 1 absolute unit. |

One way to do it would be to make an expression (TemperatureC) = Temperature + 273.15[K]
Then display this expression instead of Temperature. |
