Have you completed all of the CFX tutorials?

my model is free surface, i read tuturial about free surface but unfortunately not helpful.
If you have information about this, please help me.
As far as I know, the software can not directly calculate throw distance.
thanks

I would think it unlikely that CFX cannot model the throw distance. Why do you say that?

You will need to set it up correctly to model this but it should be possible. First of all you have to think of boundary conditions and fluid properties, not projectile laws. Do some of the tutorials to see what we are talking about.

Let me say it again but more clearly.

Yes, CFX can model the throw distance of your flow.

CFX is a commercial software package written in a combination of C and fortran, but as it is commercial you are not able to access the source code.
