Goodafternoon Friends,

I am very new to this field and trying some simple tutorials of CFX. I am trying to create expression from the available expression tab but shows an error as shown below:

WARNING
Syntax error detected in the expression assigned to 'Speed'.
Successfully read 3 characters:
60
then error detected at:
[mph]
Details - Unrecognised or invalid units.

I named speed as expression and enter its unit under 3rd bracket ([mph]) which results in above mentioned error.
Can anyone tell me where am I going wrong or what is the correct procedure.

CFX will not recognise "m" for miles - it means metres. It will not recognise "p" for per either, you need to either use power or / to indicate ^-1. I think you are OK with "H" though.

If CFX recognises miles then [mile h^1] should work. Otherwise you are going to have to convert it to something like kilometres and enter it that way.

Hello Sir,

Some of the icons on the toolbar are not shown. Can you suggest me how to drag them to the toolbar (eg. Define Run, Run Solver and monitor icon etc.)
