Does anyone know how to set centre line set up in ANSYS CFX post? If the geometry is a simple box then no problem. But it is difficult for me to make it if they are complicated ducts or twisted tube geometry. Sometimes I want to know not only centre line value but also centre line section's average value and plot it as a gragph in CFX. How do you do it? Thank you for reading this.

There is no such thing as a universal definition of centre line so you are going to have to work it out for yourself.
You might be able to send a streamline down the middle of the flow - that could do it providing it does not deviate into a recirculation somewhere. |
