Duplicate faces when importing a 3D Geometry in CFX

I have a 3D geometry that is composed of a triangular and a rectangular region. I used DesignModeler and meshing to setup my mesh.
I did a sketch of a face first. Then, I created the face. I used that face to extrude my geometry. Finally, I used the projection tool, to project two edges on my solid to facilitate the meshing step. I was advised to suppress the edges and face after fininsh the geometry, so I only kept the solid. I was able to use mapped face on the triangular surface with the help of the projection line. I named my boundary conditions after meshing. M problem is that when I import the geometry into CFX, all the boundaries that I named had a duplicate. I think there is conflict due to the use of the projection tool. How can I avoid duplicate faces? Should I extrude from a sketch and not from a face? Should I name my boundaries before meshing? Thank you |
