Dear experts,

While searching for a method that will allow me to capture the motion of aortic valves in Ansys, I encountered the name immersed solid method in cfx and was wondering-
Does someone know of a good tutorial about this method?
Does someone know of a good tutorial that teach how to model a moving valve that is also able to close properly?

thanks in advance

The CFX tutorials include an immersed solid example.

From memory immersed solids do not work well if the solid contacts another solid or a wall. This make it tricky to use them for closing valves.

Have a look in the CFX help files for the examples.

The difference between CFX and Fluent is they are spelled differently.
