Hi guys,
I have to model a fluid flow which is forced to pass through a wedge. The upper boundary is supposed to be a "rotor" and it is horizontal. The lower boundary is a stator and has an inclination in order to converge to the rotor's surface. The flow (lubricant) which passes through that geometry, is defined by a rotational speed around a global axis at the stator-fluid interface. I am not sure which interface type fits best for the fluid-rotor interface. I have tried so far the "general connection" (i use this for the fluid-stator interface) and the "rotational periodicity" which both give similar results but the differences for critical values are large enough to be ignored (~5%). Analysis type is steady state. Thanks in advance |

Please post an image of what you are modelling.
