I know that I can see the value of specific heat capacity at constant pressure under material in cfx pre. How can I use the value to create a variable in CFD post? For example, static enthalpy=specific heat capacity at constant pressure * static temperature.
I just could not find it in cfd post. what I did is to assign the value of specific heat capacity at constant pressure by myself in my variable. However, this will give me the wrong unit. Thank you in advance. |

If you have variable Cp then it should be available as a variable in the puzzlingly labeled "..." button. If not you will have to assign it to a additional variable set to a CEL value, rerun the simulation and then you will have access to it.

thank you very much for yr reply.
I have a cp as fonction of temperature and i solved it with udf in fluent but i can found it in CFD post, and i don't found also the thermal conductivity. can you please explian me more how i can do it because this is the first that i work with CFD post and i don't really understand your answer. thank you |

If the simulation was done in Fluent I do not know what it does - this is the CFX forum. Try the fluent forum.
