Dear all,
I simulate a steam valve with steady state incompressible flow. Boundary conditions are defined as follows: inlet: Temperature and velocity Wall: constant temperature outlet: pressure since in some region the mach number is greater than 0.3, i used here a total energy model. turbulence model is SST with very high resolution at the boundary layer (y+ ~ 5) but as shown in Post-processing the wall temperature is not constant as defined. thank you and Regards. |

You are not showing the wall temperature on this plot. You are showing the temperature of the control volumes inside the domain. Even the first control volume in the domain has a considerably different temperature to the wall in this case it seems.
