Hi all

I simulate flow post a cylinder, transient simulation done. As you know in CFD-Post you can get contour, streamline ,... for any time using time selector. My question is:

How can i get time averaged result in a transient simulation? like stream lines, contours, etc.

Best regards.

The best way of doing this is to calculate these variable fields during simulation time. Then the variables are present in post processing.

Thank you for your reply Dear ghorrocks
I need to calculate time average of variables like Pressure, velocity, at each point of mesh, not at whole domain. How can i do that?

Best regards.

As I said, have a look at the transient averaging variables in the documentation.

Set up transient time averaging of some variables in the output tab in Pre.
