HI,
my question is: Is it possible to average a variable during a steady state simulation like in a transient calculation? I defined a variable "pressure recovery" and its value is swinging each Iteration. And I need a Expression or something like that, that can average the variable automatically. so i can monitor the value of it during the steady state simulation. Can someone help me plz. I hope u understand my problem. thanks |

hmm...I would try writing an expression by myself and assigning its value to a variable.
But I don't know if it works in CFX as it would in a regular programming language. I would try this: expression ownaverage sum_pressure_recovery=sum_pressure_recovery+pressu re_recovery ownave=sum_pressure_recovery/number of iterations and then create an own variable pressure_recovery_ave wich would be linked to the expression ownaverage Just a guess...maybe it works...Or others may have an easier solution |
