Hi all,
I have to load up a large number of files to CFD-POST ANSYS, I wondered if the CFD-POST can run in Parallel or does an interactive job? Thanks, Answer: Pre/Post dont do parallel processing. |

if parallel as in the postprocessing calculations, this is correct, no parallel. I remember discussing parallel posting back in the CFX 5.6 days.
now, if you just have a large count of res files in need of postprocessing and have the licenses, you can batch the post processing with macros in parallel. Just monitor cpu, memory, network usage as to not slow down the overall process if done on a single machine. |
