marc.ls2013 is on a distinguished road
Hi guys,

i have a serious problem:

i have a cylinder (see picture)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

with a rotating domain. The wall in the back of the cylinder is moving physically. The other walls arent moving physically (set as counter rotating walls). I choose a rotating domain, which is rotating in the cylinder. My problem now is, that the cylinder is connectet to a second domain over a pipe (interface). The pipe is not moving. Is there an option in cfx to choose a rotating domain, where i can set that the interface to the standing pipe to not moving?

Cheers

It does not look like a serious problem to me, looks quite simple. Why do you need rotating frames of reference for this at all? This can be done as a single stationary frame of reference with a tangential velocity on the rotating wall segments. See, MUCH simpler.
