I want to introduce the particle liquid into the micro-channel, which built by some trap(70um), the particle diameter from 20um~80um, when the flow through the bigger particle(70~80um) would trapped in the trap, and the smaller through traps, the trapped particle could make effect to the flow(two-way?)
After that I need a animation that trap the bigger particle and the smaller through the channel. How do I set the condition in the CFX?? Thanks |

To my knowledge CFX does not have any wall collision model for any of its rigid body models (immersed solid or moving grid). You might be able to get around this by analytically defining when collision occurs and applying a force or displacement on the particle - but no guarantees on this.
Alternately you might be able to do this by coupling to ANSYS but I suspect not. The ideal way of doing this is by coupling with a DEM model (eg EDEM). That is the best way of doing it, but it will involve additional software. |
