Hi all,

I am trying to track particles with the flow of air. I have 3 different density particles. I used FLUENT to determine a solution and now I want to use CFD Post to show a 3D view. I want to show the stream lines of air and the particle paths to see how the particles follow the flow. (i.e. the higher density particles should have a tougher time following the streamlines compared to the lightest density particles)

I exported the particle history data from FLUENT. I created a .xml file but CFD Post is asking for a .trk file. When I try and click on the .xml anyways I receive this error:

"ERROR
Invalid number of data elements supplied on line 2:
expecting 4, received 1."

Is there a way to get around this error?

Is there a way to convert an .xml file to a .trk file?

Do you have an suggestions on how I can import the file?

Thanks.

This is the CFX forum. This sounds like a Fluent specific error so try on that forum.
