Hai ,
I am a newbie to this forum and ansys cfx. here i got a project, I need to do a cylinder falling in glycerine only under gravity no other external force. My target is to measure it's drag and velocity in cfx using moving mesh. Can anyone who are experts in moving mesh in CFX please help me.........as it's bit urgent. Please help me with how to mesh for moving mesh... i did a 2d model in cfx, thickness about 1mm Expecting a glad reply.......... You don't need moving mesh for this. Have you explored "Immersed solid" option in CFX? Once you specify your solid region, CFX uses a momentum source inside the region of solid to make it behave as solid. Documentation covers a lot of information about this.
