hey guys,
I'd like to draw some figures as the attachment like. In cfd-post, I do have velocity contour lines on certain horizontal planes of several cases but i don't know how to export the data. I wanna compare the range of influenced zones for different scenarios. I had utilize 'polyline' or 'user surface' function in cfd-post, and when I was going to generate a chart, there was a problem. I didn't know how to make it. This kind of fig (say, velocity profile on horizontal plane of z=0) is likely 2.5-D, plotting a line of velocity=certain value (or a contour level) on x-y plane, isn't it? anyone knows how to do it? any help would be very appreciated. |

Exporting the data is easy - just go file/export and select the base object. It could be the contour lines, it could be polylines, it could be anything. Then use Excel, matlab, python whatever you fancy to draw the graph.
