Is it possible to use Workbench input parameters within CFX-Post? I couldn´t find a solution from the doc. I want to use user-specified parameters from an upstream ICEM-container within CFX-Post.

Best regards,
neewbie

what the exact meaning of your 'input parameter'?
cfd-post has 'expression' option
you can set parameter there maybe.

just to clarify:

i want to use one of the Parameters from the Workbench2.0 schematic. E.g. when setting up a geometric parameter in DM i want to reference that value in CFX-Post for documentation. So the "input parameter" is a real parameter for DOE or optimization loops in wb2.0 .

regards,
Matthias

so far i did not make any progress....

isn´t there any smart solution to this?
maybe via journals in wb 2.0?

Let me try some pseudo-code:

Quote:
Grab value of INPUT parameter XY
--> copy it to an expression in CFX-post
--> use the expression in post e.g text for a figure
-->Done
when writing this --- i will give it a try a dive into the workbench journaling.

Not really what are looking for but maybe a help nevertheless:
Ansys Offers since V14.0 (I think) the so called EKM. It corresponds to a Concurrent Version Systems (CVS) wich is able to manage all of your simulations, to detect differences and to document them in a report.
If you want to know more about it just search onlien for ANSYS EKM.
If you are using academic licenses it shall be included for use in your ansys package.
