Hi every one
I want to create blade of wind turbine and give a batch file and apply it in an algorithm of optimization. What software is suitable for this purpose? Design modeler or ICEM or Blade gen? For solve I record procedure and call it from matlab but my difficulty is in create blade and mesh. If anyone has a good idea please help me Thanks |

These are three different tools.
1. Design modeller: CAD like software specially designed to process geometry for CFD. Can be used to make the parametric model from scratch. 2. ICEM : It is Meshing sotware. Capable of making HEXA, and tetra+prism mesh. It is limited CAD capability used for making domain and/or few cean up operations. 3. Blade modeller: As name tells you it is blade modeller. Just give the appropriate inputs (in terms of blade angles etc). However blade modeller is for specific purpose. Design modeller can do the job of blade modeller if you can provide the few air-foils along the length. |
