Modeling a simple geometry according what is written in
http://www.edr.no/blogg/ansys_blogge...cfx_re_meshing I had a problem with returning the geometry to initial position, with help of memebers here, the problem solved with setting the Run directory as the same as directory of mesh and geometry files. I managed to get the first remeshing. but with the analysis going on for the next interuption, in the second remeshing, I ecouter this error regarding interpolation of results: +================================================= ===================+ | ****** PROBLEM REPORT ****** | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Subsystem: Input and Output | | Subroutine name: ErrAction | | Severity level: Fatal Error | | Error message number: 001100279 | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Message: | | | | REDHDR: locating dataset failed: what=G/NAMEMAP where=EVERY | | | | | | | | | | | +================================================= ===================+ WARNING: CFXSTP, Regression check error. +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | Error interpolating results onto the new mesh: C:\Program | | Files\ANSYS Inc\v130\CFX\bin\winnt-amd64\solver-hpmpi.exe exited | | with return code 1. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ also there is another point. when the first remeshing is done, the new mesh does not follow correctly the geometry of moving box inside the flow, especially on edges. |

My problem is exactly the same as urs. I suggest maybe the problem is about dynamic meshing. Do U have dynamic meshing in ur project?

as far as I know the dynamic mesh is applied by the option of "Mesh Deformation> Regions of Motion Specified". I used this option, without this option the analysis can not go on.

Hi Ramin,
I hope that you have already solved it. I am having the exact same error here. the error log file says that the location of one of the boundaries is invalid(the one that is moving). BTW what is the deal with using the same folder as the working directory and as the one that the geometry files have been stored? Does it have to this way? |

Hey Alinik
As I remember it should be the same directory to let the solver find the necessary files. I solved the problem last year but unfortunately long time has been passed and I dont recall the details. I look at my BackUp files and let you have the batch file |

Try to use a different remeshcondition. I solved this error with more remeshsteps per time and a smaller timestep size.

1.) Try to change the remeshing condition from <5 to <10°.
2.) In the transient time control you can change your timestep size Create a Monitorpoint in the solver for the orthogonally and take a look wich values it has in your personal mesh. Did you get the mesh from somewhere or did you build it on your own? Let me know if it doesnt work, it took me a lot of time to fixed it Regards |
