I am simulation a Particle tracking model, using LES.
I use a steady state results as initial conditions to the transient mode. In steady state the particle diagnostics gives, |Particle 5um | Entered domain : 2000 | | | Left domain : 18 | | | Exceeded time limit : 1981 | | | Integration error : 1 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Particle 2um | Entered domain : 1000 | | | Left domain : 62 | | | Exceeded time limit : 924 | | | Exceeded distance limit : 14 | I have increased, Max. particle tracking time = 20S Max. tracking distance = 100m Max. No. of integration steps = 1500000 Do I want to increase these limits again? (I have done many trials and this is the last trial conditions). Or will there be any problem if I increase the "Max. particle tracking time" only as many particles in this fate? I have done a similar simulation before without these errors. Only difference was no. of particles were 10 times lesser than this one. I am glad to have your advises. |
