Hello,

i have the following problem. I want to watch an Solverrun in progress. but after opening the run with the cfx solver i see the error message:
"less than 2 values found in line"

The case is still running and the out file works correctly.
Only the residuals- and monitorpoints-diagram dont update anymore.

Its a transient calculation.
The solver works in parallel mode with 4 cores.

Can someone imagine whats the problem?
Thanks for helping me.

Hello,

i have same problem. Do you find a solution ?
I have a monitor data parse error : "icomplete line found at end of history file read" and "size mismatch. expected xxxx values, but found yyy."

I am wondering if it's not a problem of mismatching between result and monitoring sauvegard ?

regards

Did anyone find a solution?

Thx.

CFX has some cryptic error messages. Can you explain what you are doing and how the error comes up?

The error comes up when I monitor again a solved calculation in the workbench.
Then in the chart only 100 iterations are displayed instead of the actual calculated 400.
The error isn’t systematic.
The error also occurs in ANSYS 19.2

Hi to everyone!
I've got the same error as jmt_wer. But I have to add I have changed physical timescale (increased it tenfold). May be that's the rub?

Hello,

i had the same issue with the Ansys CFX-Solver 18.0 for a SBES simulation. The simulation was performed with Ansys 19.1 on an external cluster system. When I opened the files locally with ansys 18.0 I got the error message

Quote:
size mismatch. expected xxxx values, but found yyy

The solution was to use the latest Ansys version (19.1 or 19.2) to export the monitor data via CFX solver. No more issues!

regards, Max
