Hi all
There is a plate with specified material such as aluminum. A high velocity and high temperature flow sprays on it. i'm trying to simulate abrasion of plate due to fluid flow. Can i simulate it with CFX? How can i do it? May i use two way FSI ? Best regards, Last edited by omidiut; December 15, 2012 at 08:08. |

Sure you can simulate it, but whether CFX can give you answers which are useful for you is another matter.
What are you trying to learn? What design problem are you looking into? If you are interested in the fluid flow then CFX will work fine. If you are interested in erosion rates then CFX cannot help you much (but might be part of a simulation setup which can do this... maybe). |
