Hello,
I am running steady-state simulation for a fan blade in CFX-Pre with exit corrected mass flow boundary condition which is defined as a CEL expression at outlet. I need to create the fan map. To do this, I change the exit corrected mass flow. but I dont understand why by using this boundary condition my calculations converge even when the stall condition is passed! This is not the case for constant back pressure boundary condition,i.e. the calculations do not converge when the blade is in stall or passes the stall condition. And this is the behavior I expect for stall condition. Can anyone help me please understand what happens with exit corrected mass flow boundary condition that the calculation gets converge even when the blade is in stall ?? |
