Hello guys,
I wanted to ask about the best practice guide lines for the mesh used. I know for RANS you keep on refining the mesh until you get a mesh independent solution. For LES a best practice is integral length scale/filter width should be about 10. But what about URANS and SAS? What are the best practice meshes for such simulations? Thanks. |

You might want to read Best Practice: Scale-Resolving Simulations in ANSYS CFD by F. R. Menter. It can be downloaded from the ANSYS Customer Portal.
