Hi,
I'm following the procedure for tracer analysis as on here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...lysis-cfx.html But when I want to set the steady state .res file as the initial value file for transient case, I get this error from solver: "You cannot use a CFX-5.3 solver input file with the CFX-5.4 initial values" Please, any help is appreciated. |

The error message is pretty clear. It tells you exactly what the problem is.
If you are using CFX 5.3 or 5.4 then you are using something like 10 year old software. You really need to update to the current version. |

Thank you for your reply Glenn.
But a colleague helped me with that. It was due to running the steady state condition in Workbench and trying to run the transient in CFX standalone. |
