Hi
I am new to CFX. I am trying to get the projected area of my various surfaces in the X,Y,Z planes to calculate some coeff. I am exporting my data from CFX post to excel (using file-export) which has worked great for the forces but I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what to export the projected area rather then net area? I tried making a new variable defined from the expression Area_X (which does what I want) but it asks for a location, is there a way to define location as generic surface, i.e this variable will update depending on what surfaces I choose to export to excel? Thanks |

If you have lots of surfaces you could do it using a Session file.
