Dear all,
I meet this problem as follows again although I already solved it some days ago. It runs well all the time, for this time, I only add a thermal radiation model in CFX-Pre. After that, it appears this error: ================================================== ==================== OUTER LOOP ITERATION = 2 CPU SECONDS = 4.481E+02 Slave: 2 Slave: 2 Slave: 2 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Slave: 2 | *** INSUFFICIENT MEMORY ALLOCATED *** | Slave: 2 | | Slave: 2 | ACTION REQUIRED : Increase the integer stack memory size. | Slave: 2 | | Slave: 2 | Details : | Slave: 2 | Requested space : 1006277 words | Slave: 2 | Current allocated space : 34032324 words | Slave: 2 | Current used space : 31583707 words | Slave: 2 | Current free space : 2448617 words | Slave: 2 | Number of free areas : 4 | Slave: 2 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Slave: 2 Fatal error generated in gKElSel Slave: 2 Message :- FULL : Failed to make a data area for KElSel Slave: 2 gKElSel called by :- gKSelEl Parallel run: Received message from slave ----------------------------------------- Slave partition : 2 Slave routine : ErrAction Master location : RCVBUF,MSGTAG=1012 Message label : 001100279 Message follows below - : +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | | Message: | | Stopped in routine gKElSel | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. The message tells you exactly what to do - increase the integer stack size.

There's an advanced control on Solver that you can allocate more memory to your run.
Just check the box "Show Advanced Controls" > Solver Tab > Memory Alloc Factor. You can see if it works on another simulation if error persists. |
