Hi
I am trying to use Ansys products throuh LINUX machine in my university. I can start CFX and Fluent by typing commands like cfx5 and fluent directly, but don't know the command for Workbench. Can somebody help? Thanks OJ |

Is this of any help to you maybe?
http://www.padtinc.com/blog/post/201...13onLinux.aspx saying workbench starts with the command ./runwb2 out of the /ansys_inc/v130/Framework/bin/Linux64 path... ok this is for 64bit systems but with 32 should work as well only with appropriate paths... |

Yes, I also stumbled upon that but I didn't know the installation directory. And since the runwb2 command has not been added in configuration file in UNIX, using it from anywhere doesn't help, like for CFX or Fluent, wherein you don't need to be in that directory. Just cfx5 or fluent is enough to open it.
Upon searching a little, finally found the directory and now things are working. Thanks for the suggestion though OJ |
