Dear all,
does anyone have experience with two-phase flow simulation with cyclic boundary condition? I specified a total mass flow rate at the cyclic boundary. According to the CFX modeling help, the solver will correct the pressure drop, so the the specified mass flow rate will be established. However, the calculation I have run, which converged very good, shows that the total mass flow rate is considerably smaller than the originally specified value... I am quiet confused. Is the CFX solver (release 12.1 I am using) capable to do two-phase flow simulation with cyclic boundary condition? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance! Best regards, ukbid |

Just a update to this problem. I've contacted the CFX guys, it seems the solver is not capable to have cyclic boundary condition in multiphase flow simulation.
