yes it does, >= can work as greater than or equal to.....what i am confused about is how to define a range if(1725.5[K]<=T<=1726.5[K],

will it work if i do it like u showed above??T<1726.5 and T > 1725.5[K]

is AND allowed in syntax FOR EXPRESSION by cfx.?? or i should use &&

Thanks

You misunderstood. You cannot use expressions like 234 <= T <= 345 as it is not a valid format. I think & or && might work, see the documentation?

Why not use a 1D user function if you only want to assign temperature dependent properties?

Thanks i got ur point but a bit late and did it. it worked. I din t use 1D interpolation because my problem involves latent heat in it so ,it was not gonna work, itried it earlier.

Thanks again

Q# if we have two domains (fluid and solid) and they are interconnected with interface. For heat released by fluid should be necessarily defined as a "SOUrce" by creating subdomain in solid
OR
due to presence of interface, it will be transfered automatically to the solid domain which is at very low temp regrading fluid domain????
