Yesterday I noticed a problem with the LaTeX rendering of mathematical equations on CFD-Wiki. Some characters, like \nu and \equiv are not working and give a permission error on a directory. I have started to investigate why. I updated the MediaWiki installation to the latest stable version, but that did not help. It must be something related to the LaTeX add-on. These characters work well on the LaTeX add-on in the forums though, so it is not a general problem with the LaTeX base we have. It must be something with the MediaWiki interface. I will continue to investigate the problem.

I have reinstalled the LaTeX extension and fixed a few cache related problems. Now math rendering seems to work again. Nice.
