Advertising and Personal Promotion in the CFD-Wiki

Now that the Wiki is public we will see a flood of contributions with the sole intention of promoting a company, product or individual. Please note that this is not appropriate and goes against the policies of the CFD-Wiki. If you see such additions don't hesitate to remove them.

As a general rule of thumb everyone who contributes to the CFD-Wiki should be very very careful when writing about his own company, products or research results. It is even advisable not to do so. So please try to avoid to write about things where you have a personal interest in having it exposed on the CFD-Wiki.
